Magnets: ingestion and injury hazards

WARNING — Contains magnets. Swallowed magnets can cause severe internal injury or death. Magnets can attract each other or metal objects through body tissue. If a magnet may have been swallowed or inhaled, seek emergency medical care immediately. Do not wait for symptoms or a reply from Pop Cubby. For suspected pet ingestion, contact an emergency veterinarian.

  • Keep magnetic products and loose or broken pieces out of children’s and pets’ reach. Never put magnets in the mouth, nose or ears or use them to imitate piercings.
  • Adults should install and arrange displays. Inspect before use and after a drop. Stop using any cracked, split or sharp piece, or one with a loose or missing magnet.
  • Secure damaged items and recovered pieces away from children and pets. Do not repair or give them to someone else; contact us for help.
  • Do not cut, drill, pry open or remove embedded magnets. Keep fingers clear when magnetic parts come together.
  • Magnets may interfere with implanted medical devices. Follow your device manufacturer’s instructions and consult your clinician. Keep magnets away from other items whose manufacturers warn against magnetic exposure.

CubbyClick display line

WARNING — Entanglement and strangulation hazard. Keep the line, loops, hanging charms and mounting parts out of children’s reach. Never install the display on or within reach of a crib, bed, playpen or other sleeping area. Do not wear the line, wrap it around any part of the body, or use it as a restraint.

Adults should install the line with secure supports suitable for the surface and displayed pieces. Use only for decorative display; do not support people or other loads, climb or pull on it. Keep away from walkways and places where falling pieces could cause injury. Check the line, ends and supports regularly; stop using if anything loosens, frays, slips or becomes damaged. Contact us if the mounting method is unclear.

Magnetic tray shelf

Use a clean, dry, compatible magnetic surface. Check the attachment before adding contents, regularly during use, and after moving the shelf. Do not assume magnetic attraction establishes a safe weight limit. Contact us before mounting if you need confirmation that a particular surface or load is suitable.

Do not place heavy, breakable, hot or hazardous items on a mounted shelf. Keep away from cribs, beds, playpens and places where falling contents could injure someone. Do not climb, lean or pull on it. Remove the contents and stop using if it slips, cracks, detaches or its magnetic strip separates. An intact tray can also sit on a stable, level desktop.

Nameplates and keychains

Place nameplates on stable surfaces away from edges and where they cannot be pulled down. Decorative crayon shapes are not writing materials. Keychains are for keys and bags; never use the printed loop or ring to support a person, restrain an animal or carry heavy loads.

Small or broken parts can cause choking. Keep them away from children who may mouth them and from pets. Do not chew products. Inspect printed parts, lettering, rings and attachment points regularly; stop using if cracked, sharp, loose or damaged.

Care, heat and placement

Keep printed pieces away from flames, heaters, hot vehicles and prolonged direct sunlight. Use charms and nameplates indoors. Wipe gently with a soft cloth; lightly dampen it for nonmagnetic printed surfaces if needed, then dry. Do not soak, use abrasives or harsh solvents, or put products in a dishwasher or microwave. Products are not intended for food contact, teething, chewing or safety equipment. Keep packaging and loose assembly materials away from children and pets.
